Rachel graduated in Jewellery Design from Central Saint Martin’s College of Art and Design and continued to study at the Gemological Institute of America in New York where she received her diploma in Diamond Grading.
Her signature aesthetic of pure and strong forms redefines the traditional world of jewellery fusing art deco with modern design for timeless results. Rachel works with diamonds from the rough to the refined, resulting in wearable and unique pieces. Specialising in Alternative Bridal and Bespoke, her collections are for the inspiring and the curious who like their fine jewellery with understated edge and elegance.The jewellery is created in her workshops in the creative hub of East London, and in the capital of stone cutting; Jaipur. Rachel maintains an emphasis on craftsmanship and artistry sourcing through only trusted local suppliers. Fusing modern and traditional making techniques, emphasis is on hand fabrication, which is integral to achieving products of both high quality and raw originality.
Since the brand’s launch, Rachel has won Designer of the Year (2018) and been nominated New Designer of the Year at the UK Jewellery Awards (2014), named by Elle, Vogue and Harper's Bazaar as a ‘designer you need to know’ and was selected in the Professional Jeweller Hot 100 Awards. Rachel was the youngest of seven designers chosen to take part in the unique exhibition ‘Made in London: Jewellery Now’ at the Museum of London which showcased the work of 'the most talented jewellers working in London today'.
Rachel was also a recipient of the renowned jewellery initiative; 'Rock Vault' chosen by the British Fashion Council and Stephen Webster MBE to represent innovative fine jewellery talent. She showcased her collections at The Couture Show, Las Vegas and at London Fashion Week where she showed her imperfect diamond collections to HRM Queen Elizabeth II.
Rachel Boston's work has worn by celebrities such as Rihanna, Miley Cyrus, Emma Watson, FKA Twigs, Cara Delevigne, Zayn Malik, and Janelle Monae.
