Production Assistant
Ciara, a born and bred East Londoner, knew she wanted a career in jewellery from an early age: she started to make pieces from wire and drink cans to sell to her friends at school and at local markets from when she was 12 years old. She graduated from her Jewellery & Silversmithing course at Edinburgh College of Art in 2012, moved back to London to start working in Hatton Garden, and has worked in different roles in the jewellery industry ever since. Fascinated by how things are constructed and made, and drawn to beautifully-made pieces, Ciara’s technical know-how and sharp eye for detail makes her a natural fit as our production assistant at Rachel Boston. She also runs her own jewellery business making pieces inspired by antique jewellery and reclaimed objects, as well as her interest for bright colourful things, theatre, history, and story-telling.
