Yes. Creating bespoke jewellery is at the heart of what we do. Whether you have a clear vision or just the beginning of an idea, we'd be delighted to discuss your project with you.
We create bespoke engagement rings, wedding bands and fine jewellery, guiding you through every stage from the initial concept to the finished piece.
Our made-to-order designs are existing Rachel Boston pieces that can be personalised by selecting your preferred metal, diamond or gemstone, or adapting details such as the setting or band.
Bespoke pieces are completely unique designs, created from scratch around your ideas, inspiration and chosen stones. Every bespoke project is developed in close collaboration with you, resulting in a piece that's entirely personal.
Simply email your brief, together with any reference images or specifications, to info@rachelboston.co.uk and we'll aim to respond within two working days.
Please note that quotations are valid for one month, as they reflect the current market price of gold and gemstones.
Every bespoke project is different, so we'll always ask if you have a budget in mind before recommending the most suitable options. This allows us to source the right stones and tailor the design to your priorities.
For bespoke engagement rings, our minimum spend is £7,000, while existing engagement ring designs with small adjustments typically start from £5,000. Our fully bespoke fine jewellery pieces start from £5,000.
Remodelling existing jewellery or resetting stones is considered on a case-by-case basis, with projects generally starting from £3,500 for existing designs and £5,500 for bespoke redesigns.
Following your consultation and stone sourcing, we'll provide a detailed quotation tailored to your project.
Ready to Ship jewellery must be paid for in full at the time of purchase.

Yes. We are proud to be a Certified B Corporation, meeting high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability.
All of the gold we use is either recycled or Single Mine Origin gold.
Our recycled gold is carefully refined and reused to minimise the need for newly mined material. Where we use newly mined gold, we choose Single Mine Origin gold, sourced from a single responsible mine with full traceability.
All of our diamonds are sourced in accordance with the Kimberley Process, and our gemstones are sourced through trusted suppliers who adhere to strict ethical standards. We are also able to provide the origin of the majority of our sapphires and coloured gemstones.
We also offer lab-grown diamonds as an alternative to natural diamonds.
To learn more, please visit our Responsible Jewellery page.
Every Rachel Boston piece is designed and made entirely in the United Kingdom.
Our jewellery is crafted by our skilled team in Hatton Garden, London's historic jewellery quarter, as well as in our In-House workshop above our Shoreditch showroom.
We offer both natural and lab-grown diamonds, depending on your personal preference and budget.
Every diamond we source is carefully selected by our team for its beauty and quality. Our natural diamonds are certified by GIA, while our lab-grown diamonds are certified by GIA or IGI where applicable.
As we source lab-grown diamonds specifically for each project, they are available on a made-to-order basis rather than held in stock.
If you're unsure which option is right for you, we're always happy to explain the differences and help you decide.
We source diamonds and coloured gemstones from trusted suppliers around the world, selecting each stone individually for its quality, character and suitability for your design.
All of our diamonds are sourced in accordance with the Kimberley Process, and we can provide detailed provenance for the majority of our sapphires and many other coloured gemstones.
If you have a preference for a particular origin, such as Canadian diamonds or Australian sapphires, we'll always do our best to accommodate your request.
Our jewellery is available in a selection of precious metals, including 9ct Yellow, White and Rose Gold, 18ct Yellow, White and Rose Gold, and Platinum.
As many of our pieces are made to order, we're often able to create them in an alternative precious metal upon request. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
We are able to work with heirloom jewellery and gemstones, provided they are suitable for resetting. Diamonds, sapphires and other durable gemstones can often be incorporated into a bespoke design or adapted into one of our existing styles, subject to assessment by our workshop.
Unfortunately, we are unable to use clients' own gold when creating new pieces, as we cannot guarantee its composition or structural integrity.
Aside from heirloom jewellery, we generally only work with diamonds and gemstones that we have sourced ourselves. This allows us to verify their quality, provenance and certification, while ensuring they are suitable for the design and setting process.
Yes. In accordance with UK law, every gold and platinum piece we create is hallmarked by an independent UK Assay Office.
This hallmark certifies the precious metal content and guarantees the authenticity of your jewellery.
Our existing engagement ring designs are typically made within 8–10 weeks, while bespoke engagement rings usually take 12–14 weeks, depending on the complexity of the design.
Our wedding bands are generally completed within 7–8 weeks, while bespoke wedding bands typically take 12–14 weeks.
If you're working towards a proposal or wedding date, we recommend getting in touch as early as possible so we can advise on the best options.

We're always happy to use reference images as inspiration and discuss the elements that you've been drawn to.
While we'll never create a direct copy of another designer's work, we can reinterpret ideas through the Rachel Boston aesthetic to create something that feels personal and unique to you.
If you're remodelling an existing piece of jewellery, we can also take inspiration from your original ring while creating a new design that honours its story.
For us, the best jewellery is jewellery that continues to be worn and loved. Remodelling allows a sentimental or inherited piece to be reimagined into something that reflects your style today, while preserving its history and meaning.
There is also an environmental benefit. Reusing existing diamonds and gemstones gives beautiful materials a second life and is often a more sustainable choice than sourcing new stones.
We can often remodel heirloom jewellery, inherited pieces and existing engagement rings, creating a new design that better suits your style and lifestyle.
Every project begins with an assessment of your jewellery, and we'll advise on the best way to incorporate your existing stones into a new Rachel Boston design.
Yes. We'll examine your jewellery and carry out an initial assessment of your stones.
If needed, we can also arrange further testing or certification before beginning the design process, giving you a clear understanding of what you have before proceeding.
We're unfortunately unable to work with customer-supplied gold or platinum, as we can't guarantee the composition or structural integrity of externally sourced metal.
Instead, we create every remodel using recycled or Single Mine Origin gold or platinum from our trusted refiners, ensuring the highest standards of strength, longevity and craftsmanship.
As every remodelling project is unique, we'll ask if you have a budget in mind before recommending the most suitable approach.
As a guide, existing design remodels start from £3,500, while fully bespoke remodelling projects start from £5,500. Following your consultation, we'll provide a detailed quotation tailored to your design and materials.
Most remodelling projects take approximately 3 to 3.5 months.
If you're working towards a particular date, please let us know as early as possible and we'll advise what's achievable.
Simply book an appointment or get in touch by email. We'll discuss your existing jewellery, assess your stones, talk through your ideas and guide you through the design process from there.
Consultations are available both in person at our London showroom and remotely for clients further afield.

If your piece contains a client supplied heirloom diamond or gemstone, we recommend obtaining an independent valuation from a specialist third-party appraiser. We are happy to recommend a trusted valuer if required.
As our jewellery often holds significant material and sentimental value, we strongly recommend insuring your piece against loss, theft and accidental damage. If you have any questions about insuring your jewellery or would like to request a valuation, please contact us at info@rachelboston.co.uk.
