Breathing new life into heirloom jewellery is one of our favourite types of projects. Wondering how our bespoke redesign service works? We’ve answered your most commonly asked questions below.

WHAT JEWELLERY CAN YOU REMODEL?
We are able to redesign around our clients’ heirloom pieces, and update or redesign an existing engagement ring to better suit your style and circumstance.
WHY CHOOSE TO REMODEL JEWELLERY?
For us, the best jewellery is a piece that’s worn and loved. Pictured below, our client wanted to update their Engagement Ring to better reflect their unique style and we love the chunky gold design they chose. Environmentally, antique and heirloom diamonds also have significantly reduced impact on the earth than their new counterparts.

HOW DO I FIND OUT WHAT THE EXISTING STONE IS?
We’ll be able to take a look in person at our showroom for you - Rachel received a diploma in diamond grading from the Gemological Institute of America in New York - and send it on for further valuation before creating a design around it.
CAN I RECYCLE THE METAL?
We can reuse the hallmarked gold or platinum, or if the existing metal isn’t quite right we’ll use our regular gold or platinum which is 100% recycled as standard.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE?
Redesigning will take around 3 months. If you are aiming to have the piece finished with a specific date in mind, please do let us know.
ANYTHING ELSE TO KNOW?
As with our bespoke process, we have a minimum spend of £3000 which can be covered with the design fee, as well as additional stones and metal.

TO RACHEL: WHAT'S YOUR FAVOURITE REDESIGN?
"It’s too hard to decide, but this Baguette and Round diamond beauty below certainly stands out in my mind. We took the diamonds from the client’s heirloom brooch and ring to create this striking Deco-inspired engagement ring."
