Mathilda keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes as our valued Studio Assistant and Runner. She helps with a multitude of daily tasks, from supporting our office team, sourcing stones and materials for the studio, liaising with our suppliers and makers and occasionally even moonlighting as a Sales Assistant.
Mathilda is currently studying Jewellery Design at Central Saint Martins, where she focuses on stone carving and Japanese inlay techniques, and is exploring bringing elements of graphics and illustration into her work. Her love of jewellery stems from a love of small, precious objects that can be carried, collected, and passed on — very much in line with our ethos of creating modern heirlooms here at Rachel Boston. In her free time, Mathilda loves watching horror movies, learning new skills, and deciding where to travel to next.
